In the chart above, the colored squares represent different levels of compatibility between the tunings of the wind chimes in the horizontal and vertical headings. The horizontal heading uses abbreviations to make the chart managable, and are in the same order as the listings in the vertical heading. The combinations marked in green are the most consonant (pleasing). They are all anhemitonic pentatonic combinations, meaning 5 tones without any halftone intervals. Exceptions are the Lullaby and Dusk unisons which are 4 tone chords, and Summer and Summer Simmer which have a major 7 (M7) halftone interval. The combinations in blue are all hexatonic, meaning 6 tones. Some use PYthagorean intervals that are a little less consonant than Just Intonation, and closer to Equal Temperament. Ursa Major is the only hexatonic tuning without halftones. The yellow combinations are all heptatonic, meaning 7 tones. All are Diatonic (white piano keys) with the exception of combinations with The Blues or Windy City Blues. All of The Blues or Windy City Blues pairs have 2 stacked halftones (because of the flat fifth, or blue note, between the fourth and fifth). Diatonic structures are considered the most consonant of the heptatonic scales. Other combinations are possible, including mixtures of Pythagorean and Just Intonation values, and some that are more Gypsy sounding.  

For compatibility with other brand wind chimes, Woodstock is the best bet, as they are the only other chimes pitched to Just Intonation. Refer to the Note Comparison Chart below for the actual notes of the tunings with adjusted cent values for Just Intonation. For other brands tuned to Equal Temperament, Autumn, Autumn Aura, Ancient Echo, Lullaby, and Lingering Lullaby are the most compatible, depending on the Keys involved.
